Karaoke nights and venues

You can often hear very good singers at the many Karaoke sessions that are help in pubs and bars around the city and county. This is a popular passtime and many people love to go out and have a go at singing their favourite songs.

Karaoke nights are often not easy to find out about - so if you know of one in your area, please let us know so we can list it.

Monday Nights

Karaoke for eveyone takes place in the DDC Bar, Dover Street, Leicester (just up from the Little Theatre). Starts around 8.30 p.m. and goes on till about 11.30 ish. Some of the best singers in Leicester can be heard at this venue.

Friday Nights

Sunday Nights

The Craddock Arms, 201 Knighton Road, Leicester, Karaoke on Sunday evenings with MC Glenn Bonnar.

Karaoke every Sunday at Quebec Bar in Belgrave Gate from around 9 ish til very late. With drag MC.

Karoke events are sometimes held at Chaplins Bar, 24 Pocklingtons Walk, Leicester.

Pop music

DJs play popular music in many of the city centre pubs and clubs.

Live pop music events are held at the De Montfort Hall and the Venue at Leicester University.
