The statistics show that our magazine continues to attract readers, making it an important source of news and information about the arts. Readers in January looked most at the coverage of the obsUnplugged shows, our page on dates of rock gigs and continued to get information about the Glastonbudget Festival, from the feature articles we have about this key local music event. Our listing of shows, concerts and entertainment - on our events page - also continued to attract a high number of visitors. Our page on the Leicester Live Photographic Exhibition also attracted a large number of readers. News, music and bands also figured in the top ten areas of the magazine that readers went to. Editor Trevor Locke said "This is a really good result. It proves that our work is valued by the arts community, not just in our locality but across the UK. "We hope these figures will convince businesses that our magazine is a seriously good place in which to advertise. " 2nd February Artsin ramps up its web design serviceNew staff have allowed Artsin Productions Ltd. to beef up its web design offering. Back in October, Artsin Productions, the company that runs this magazine, took over the long established business called B2B Web Consultants. Now, new staff at Artsin Productions means that our web design service is capable of taking on not only more work but also new areas that were not previously a strength. Artsin Productions staff can now offer coding and development work of a high technical specification. Artsin Productions also runs its own web server and can host websites. We have special packages for bars, restaurants, clubs, gift ideas, concerts, gigs, parties ... if you need to get customers in ... talk to us first.

Visitor numbers have been increasing steadily throughout recent months. Local readers account for around 60% and the rest come mainly from other parts of the UK. What does this mean? Artsin has invested a lot of time in building up its internet presence. So when we promote or advertise an act, artist, show or venue, we have access to tens of thousands of contacts, both in Leicester/shire and nationally. These are carefully chosen contacts that are there for a reason. We do not add people randomly. Nor do people add us without reason. Social networking allows us to shout about things that interest us and to work some magic for the artists or venues that we represent.
