Bands get time to question music experts

A panel of music industry experts will be on hand to answer questions from musicians from new and young bands.

Bands' Questiontime will be held at The Shed on Saturday 7th April from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free to band members and their friends.

The event follows on from one presented in February:

On 13th February, we wrote:

"Leicester band promoters Artsin Productions are to offer young bands an unusual opportunity to find out how to make their group successful.

"At an event to be held at the Shed live music venue on Saturday 18th February, members of the Artsin team will be holding an informal workshop, open to any musician aged 18 or under."

This was so successful that Artsin Productions decided to run another event.

Young bands play at Shed

Promoter Theo Crewe announces the start of Teenage Takeoverat the Shed. Gigs start on 17th September starting at 2 p.m. in the afternoon.

Opportunity for young bans to play

We report that lock42 venue will be hosting all-ages events on Saturday afternoons. Young bands can get to play and earn money from their performances. Read the full story on our main bands news page.
