This charity festival, taking place across eight venues on Braunstone Gate kicks off at lunchtime. You could saunter to the Sumo Courtyard for a blacksmithing workshop, or head to Hub for a live graffiti demo. With a Seahorse Kids Zone at Entropy, and cocktail school at The Looking Glass, the day's events will cater for all ages and interests. The day will be filled with live music, pop-up art exhibitions and clothes boutiques. With such a feast for the eyes on offer, you wouldn't be blamed for working up an appetite - food stands will be dotted around various venues laying host to a variety of Seahorse Specials. If all the arts and crafts have tired you down, you can get something a little more substantial at one of our six participating restaurants offering Seahorse Specials (please note, no endangered species were harmed in the making of these delicious dishes!) As the festival rolls on, the music will get turned up an octave as eight of Leicester's biggest club nights take over Braunstone Gate. You can travel across a myriad of genres, from House to Hip Hop; listen to live bands and dance to the best DJs; step from a courtyard fiesta to dive into an underwater themed experience, and all for just £3. If you're still standing after a day and night of (sea)horsing around, then you can head to the Seahorse Creative Hullabaloo Festival after party at Sophbeck, running until 6 am. Completing the 18 hour celebration of Leicester creative arts. The Seahorse Creative Hullabaloo has been set up to raise both funds and awareness for organisations that support those affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). All profits for the Festival will be split between two Multiple Sclerosis charities. A £1 donation will be asked for at each individual venue, or pay £3 for a Seahorse Stamp which will get you into all eight venues.
