The Summer Sundae FestivalOn Friday night, everyone's favourite Brummie rapper Mike Skinner, aka The Streets, is set to get the Weekender off to a rousing start with his distinctive blend of pop suss, urban cool and lyrical genius. Another musical heavyweight arrives on Saturday, with the legendary and much-loved The Charlatans returning to the live arena in spectacular fashion to reclaim their shiny pop throne. And, to round things off, Sunday sees not one, but two amazing headliners – The Zutons, who have long enthralled audiences with their beautifully whimsical, madly addictive art-pop, and folk maestro Bon Iver , who crafted one of the most heartbreakingly perfect albums of 2008 with For Emma, Forever Ago . You can also see Saint Etienne + Bon Iver + Beardyman + Baddies + First Aid Kit + The Kabeedies + The Noisettes + The Joy Formidable + Micachu & The Shapes + Karima Francis + Imelda May + Dan Black + James Yuill + Woodpigeon + Teitur + Jim Jones Revue |
